The Solar System is the space that is
influenced by a Suns gravitational pull. Our
Solar System consist's of the sun and nine
other Planets, MERCURY, VENUS, EARTH, MARS,
SATURN, URANUS, PLUTO, JUPITER and NEPTUNE.
Each PLANET circles the Sun in an eliptical
ORBIT one orbit is a year, each planet turns
on its own axis which is refered to as thier
rotational period or day. The four inner
planets are mainly rocky with varying
degrees of ATMOSPHERE. The outer planets are
refered to as the gassous giants. Most of the
planets have Satellites orbiting them which
are generaly refered to as a moons.
